writing report Zhou Dynasty

The Chinese civilization increased during the time of the Zhou Dynasty. The Large size that the dynasty covered was too much for the Zhou leaders to handle due to the little means of communication. Because of this, the leaders decided to appoint people to direct each of the territories. The territories had began as walled off cities. The leaders of each of the territories were the lords, each  receiving the title throne by inheritance of an ancestor. Next in the chain of command (hierarchy) was the fighting men (warriors) pursued by peasents and the slaves. soon after those territories became of more independence and ultimately seperating from the main zhou dynasty leaders.

zhou dynasty mostly supported agricultural manufacture. during those times lord of the lands were spreaded among the peasents for growing divided into three by three squares with the eight outer squares were being worked on by all eight of the peasents for the lord. the degree of this type of land arrangement was obscure, but the later on dynasties believed that it was the best structure of land degree and uses.

the religious views of zhou dynasty indicated their every day way off living, the kings of zhou appehended that they were accored to command from the heavens. kings prayed continuously prayed and sacraficed to shang t., the lord on high presuming now to be called tien(heaven) and their ancestors. if there were any prayers or sacrafices that were passed over, great misfortune was assumed to descend upon the kingdom, territory of the careless leader.

in 770 B.C.E the zhou kings lost control over the other territories they empowered to their lords. those territories as well with the non-chinese forces defectedand defeated their origional zhou capital. the zhou dynasty then formed a new capital in the farther east. zhou gave up the pollitical and military their territories controlled over.

the iron age brought iron-typed ox drawn plow and amelorated their irrigation methology(mehtods) which amplified the agricultural cultivation which also escalated the population. with the magnified population came tremendous wealth, and people started to transition into trader and merchant class. the improvement  of articulation(communication) was destined.the improvement came into form of enlarging the horse back communication system. this increased in the economues situations giving access to the rulers to control more and more territories. the articulation were extremely exceptional than formerly, and a ruler empire, territory and yet still at awareness of threats or situations that may arise or accur.

the most influential of the philosophers was confucious. confucious was the imitation of the emerging classof administrators  and advisors that were needed to aid the rulers cope with the abiding discretion (judgment) with other states and intimate administration. confusious wanted to return to the zhou style of governing. he suspected that the rulers of that period were getting too selfrighteous. confucious then decided to create a "class" of virtue, and humbling the ruler to be less harshly.and lead positive/constructive examples for the people to follow.

with confucionism came taoism.the objective of taoism was to be less "pushy" and let the people deal with their problems natrually. basically to be said in the text written by lao-tzo "a wise man". taoism was based on clarity.

legalism was the third class of philosophy. the philosopphers felt positive (in order) structure came out of place, and play. the legalist philosophers believed that every manner should be influenced by firm, strict, strained impersonal laws. for this system to work the legalists needed to hold a steady powerful and wealthy rate, where in hand had ultimate power. the military and wealth department is what provided such authority.

among the fourth century B.C.E. the state of chin, one of the former territories of the zhou kingdom, emerged as a more greater power. based upon the theories of a leading legalist, that the chin kingdom reconstructed its aauthority economy and military department. and the zhou empire started to weakend and fade off. eventually died in 256 B.C.E. soon after the ch'in had concequred the seven oter warring states.

  1. Calah,

You have great information, now let's get it into your own words and organized into stronger paragraphs. Remeber to structure your paragrpahs with a topic sentence, two supporting details and then examples to back it all up. Each paragraph needs a conclusion sentence that wraps it up so the reader knows you are moving on to the next thought. Please watch your capitalization as well. It won't take you much time to fix, you have a great piece to work with.
